Founded in 1940 by Mr. Paul Beaver, Beaver Wholesale Meats Inc. has been an integral part of Smithville, Ohio for over eight decades. What began as a modest venture has now evolved into a thriving wholesale foodservice distributor, proudly serving the community.
Today, the company remains firmly rooted in its family heritage, with Mr. Paul Beaver’s grandson, Greg Beaver, at the helm, alongside great-grandsons Colton and Clarke Beaver. Supported by a dedicated team of 20 employees, the business is committed to upholding its legacy of quality and reliability as a local, family-owned enterprise.

We make and supply our own ground beef, beef patties, ham loaf, and sausage. We also supply a variety of fresh and frozen beef, pork, poultry and seafood items. As well as several types of frozen breaded and unbreaded vegetables. We also carry a large selection of produce, paper supplies and dry good items as well. All of these items are used to supply several independent foodservice type operations within Ashland, Carroll, Coshocton, Holmes, Lorain, Medina, Richland, Stark, Summit, Tuscarawas, and Wayne counties, as well as anyone else we can help provide service too.
We are very happy to have served the local area for more than 83 years and hope to continue our service to you for many years to come.
